Joe, sorry about your mom, I have a picture in my mind of seeing her across the street when we lived on Jackson sitting on porch enjoying a summer day. My mom passed May 23, 2008. We were truly blessed to have wonderful moms. My deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family. Hope to see you at a festival this summer

It 's a sad time for me just learning of Josie's passing. I teach nursing and bring students to facility here Josie resided. My students loved caring for her as she was so pleasant with them. They could always count on a visit to her room for some pleasant conversation and a view of her many family photos and introduction of each family member. May the love of Christ Jesus comfort and keep you during this time.

I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have lots of memories with your mother while working and volunteering at Seven Oaks.
Josie taught me most of what I know about baking and sharing stories about "the good ol' days". She put me in my place a few times!
She was proud to be your mother and cherished the visits you made.

You guys were lucky, you had a helluva mom and you were lucky to have her in your life all these years.
These are difficult times I know, having lost two parents in less than a year. The pain subsides but the love and memories are always just a thought away.
