It's so sad to see the passing of Joyce. She will be missed. Our prayers go out to her family, she is at peace now. How can we forget the times at the Milwaukee Mile, Raceing Round-up, other places of entertainment and the thundebird in the swimming pool. May God bless

My sympathy to Joyce's family including
her extended family. My fond memories of our times and trips together will always
bring a smile. A great traveling partner
to Acapulca, our cruise down the Mexican Riviera and Tuscany, Italy. What laughs and great fun we had. Her love of life was
infectious and mine has been richer for it.

I am so saddened and upset with this news. My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, her children, grandchildren, her mother & sibblings and step children.
Joyce in your last email Sept. 6th you told me that you were very happy and life was good to you. I was so glad to know that you had found someone. Even though she was happy in her new life, she was still missing Terry as much as I miss Richard. Joyce you are going back to Terry.
Stangly I called Joyce Tuesday night around 8:00 Eastern time, I did not know the phone number she gave me was her cellular. She sounded good & happy on the phone. That's when I found out that she was somewhere in the Maine for lobster dinner and to look at the fall color with Jerry and the Schills. It was a brief conversation and at the end just to say.... Talk to you next week and enjoy your trip. The next day I got an email announcing me her passing.
I love you Joyce Jeffords.... RIP...God bless you my friend.....

It was friends at first sight. We met a few years after Terry's death, and my breakup. We were off and running in a fun-filled, ready for anything, much needed, joy spree. Mostly we laughed...a lot. Packer games, dinners out, a trip to Punta Cana, floats in the Erin St. Patricks Day Parade, volunteers for the Sussex Proud American Day, bar hopping and flirting with guys at the Old Templeton, Seigos, and the Speedway, a week in the wilds of Canada fishing with the girls on a 40' house boat, dressing up for Halloween and New Years parties, relaxing at the lake, volunteers for the Womens Disabled Turkey Hunt, celebrating our birthdays, sharing our triumphs and sympathizing with our tragedies. We were all about enjoying this wonderous life. She met Gerry, later I met Bill, and we were off again in new experiences. I loved her. I miss her. She was a sparkling jewel.
