I never had the privilege to meet Karen, but spoke to her on the phone when I needed advice on my newest Hound, Chaos. She will me missed by everyone, but I know she'll be in our hearts. My deepest sympathy for her family and friends.

I worked with Karen at ProVantage. She was a wonderful person. I was saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to the Blasing family. Karen will always hold a special place in my heart. She is without a doubt in heaven now where she is happy, healthy, and whole.

I don't recall ever meeting Karen, but have heard good things about her. We have probably worked together at one point during a Basset Buddies Rescue event, not realizing each other's names. Her legacy of work with BBR speaks for itself. It takes special people to do what she did. We must trust in God that she was taken from us for a good reason. Thanks Karen, for opening your heart to so many. You were truly an angel. All dogs DO go to heaven because of people like you.

Did not know Karen except when we spoke by phone about BBR. She called me when I was having some serious problems and made me smile. God Bless you Karen, and we shall meet someday.

Our hearts go out to Karen's family during this time of sorrow. We knew Karen only for a short time while she was married to Jeff. What a beautiful wedding they had, I remember the fall theme like it was yesterday. God Bless!
