Karen touched so many lives from across the country and will be missed by so many. I looked forward to seeing her every year at each DRE Conference. I respected and admired her dedication to drug impaired driving enforcement and only hope I/we can live up to the high regard she held all DREs. My wife Tracey and I will always remember the kindness you and Karen extended to us while at the DRE Conference in Alexandria, VA and a wonderful conversation she and I shared in Kansas City, MO. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family.

Michael and I only met Karen once at the last DRE Conference in KC. She was a genuinely nice lady and a strong advocate for Law Enforcement in the struggle against impaired driving. Her impact will be missed!

Cleo and I were shocked to hear of Karen's passing. For many years Karen and I celebrated our "twinship" with an exchange of cards (initiated each year by Karen). Our sinerest sympoathy to all members of Karen's family. She and I played and had so much fun together as little girls. More recently she visited us in Lions Bay and we were with her in Milwaukee at a family celebration.
