MY CONDOLENCES TO THE GRUENEWALD FAMILY WITH RESPECT TO KAREN'S PASSING, ALTHOUGH I NEVER MET HER, I WORKED CLOSELY WITH HER HUSBAND, GLENN, DURING MY 18 PLUS YEAR ABBREVIATED CAREER ON THE MILWAUKEE POLICE DEPARTMENT, BEFORE I RETURNED TO MY BROADCASTING CAREER, BUT IN LOS ANGELES, A MUCH BETTER CLIMATE, THAN MILWAUKEE.
HAVING ENTERED THE MILWAUKEE POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH A BROADCASTING ADVANCED DEGREE AND SIX YEARS EXPERIENCE, THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WAS SMART ENOUGH TO UTILIZE MY PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN BROADCASTING AND DETAIL ORIENTED UNDERSTANDING OF FUTURE PLANNING, WHEN THE CITY PURCHASED THE NEW POLICE / FIRE TRAINING ACADEMY ON TEUTONIA AVE. AND SERIOUS INTEREST IN USING TELEVISION FOR TRAINING.
I INTERACTED WITH GLENN, ON A REGULAR BASIS, WHO REPRESENTED CHIEF BREIER, ON MANY ISSUES. GLENN AND I , ENJOYED OUR WORKING RELATIONSHIP.
