Richard and family,
We send our condolences to you on this terrible loss. Though we lived away for so long (and are out of town now) and only knew Karen slightly, her legacy of three wonderful children speaks for itself. I hope you will ultimately find comfort in good memories as time goes on.

It is with deep and heartfelt sadness that I leave the Schutkin family with these condolences for Karen's passing. Know your family is in my prayers.

Karen was staffer number seven in our fledgling company in Glendale, ALLCOM. She came highly recommended by more than a few people and was hired immediately after I met her.

She was, without a doubt, one of the very reasons we were able to grow our company to over 100 staffers in a very short period of time. Her contributions were extraordinary for sure and always delivered in that "Karen Style" with a gorgeous smile.

While she was certainly one of the most highly intelligent, supremely organized and studied people we had in our company, the two things we will miss most would be her incredible whit [very dry humor, she would make you laugh out loud with some witty response and then walk away with a smirk on her face while everyone was laughing] and that very happy persona that we all enjoyed each and every day.

Not a single day went by when she did not have a smile on her face and a kind word for her fellow teammates. I can say for me that she certainly was one of the treasures of my career and early business friendships.
