Keith Rand Obituary

Rand, Keith A. Of Waukesha, died on Sat., Nov. 20, 2010, at the age of 79 years. Keith was born in Eagle River, Wisconsin, on Dec., 14, 1930, a son of Clarence and Laura Rand. He married the love of his life, Sharon Sutton on June 19, 1954. Keith worked as an Electrical Engineer for Waukesha Engine for over twenty years. His work gave him the opportunity to travel often, allowing him to visit over 57 different countries. Keith was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha. He loved hunting and spending time with his family. Keith proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Marines. Keith was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW Post 721. Keith will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon; children, Tori (Eric) Zwisler and Craig (Caroline) Rand; grandsons, Evan and Taylor Zwisler; brothers, Norm (Shirley) Rand and James Rand. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Robert, Gene, Jackson, Marvin; and sister, Carol. The memorial service with Military Honors for Keith will be held on Sat., Dec. 18, at 2PM, at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. The visitation will be on Saturday from 1PM until the time of the 2PM memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Spring City Garden Club, W230 S4353 Milky Way Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188 are appreciated.
