Not an occasion or a year goes by that you aren't remembered, Dad. We love you always. You are fondly spoken of. This was my birthday celebration. I felt your hug in the breeze. Thank you. and listened to "Celebrate" with this little man, your Great Grandson. Forever with us..in spirit.

My sincere belated condolences to Kurt's family. I knew Kurt for 39 years and loved him like a brother. Like Kurt, I was a friend of Bill W., and will always remember him for all the people he helped in our 12 step fellowship until his death. He was an inspiration to us all who were searching for sobriety. I know he is in heaven now with his family and the rest of our deoarted brothers and sisters, and I am looking forward to be reunited with him when God calls me. Thank you Kurt for being my friend and may God bless you and us all.

You are on my heart and mind these last few days.
Always think of you . Just sometimes more loudly than others.
Wish you were here.
Miss you so very much.
I know you are with God and I will see you soon.

Thinking of you today.
Glen Frey passed away and
was thinking of all the concerts we attended together. Hard to say the best. I think it was Richie Havens. Miss You
My Dear Friend

Kurt was one of the first persons that I met at Group 48 in my early sobriety. His guidance at that time was essential to my sobriety and for that I will always be grateful. I wish his family peace and serenity. He is around in spirit.

Kurt was such a wonderful man and a dear friend.
"Woke up this morning and they told me you were gone. I always thought that I'd see you again." (James Taylor)
He will be missed by my daughter and grandchildren who thought of him as "Papa Kurt". He will be missed by the women who live with me who knew him as "Mr. Big Kurt"
He will be missed by all his brothers and sister in AA. All the people at Agape, All the people who loved and admired him over the many years.
He was an inspiration and a help to all of us.
He was a ROCK of spiritual energy.
Through the last years he suffered with
pain and disliked his immobility and his living arrangements. He never complained
or cursed his higher power.
I know his Spirit is free of the body that
had given out on him and he is with all those he loved and cared about that went before him. He carried them in his heart, as he did those who were here.
I will miss you dearly and you are always in my heart.

Kurt handsome as ever

Kurt was a Dad to me. I called him Dad, and he called me daughter.
I will miss him dearly.
I cannot get to Milwaukee this evening, but I will be there in spirit, and will be praying during this time, as well as lighting a candle in his Memory. As soon as I can find my pictures, I will be loading one. The day you walked me down the isle 11 years ago, was one of the best memories I have with you.
Love you, Dad.

I am so sorry to learn of Sonny's passing. He was a very good friend of my late husband, Rin Altenbern, and an important and welcome addition to our family. Sonny may be gone but in our lives, he will never be forgotten. My sympathies to his family and I know you cherish his memory, as do we.
