I miss my old friend Laurie and wish I could have gone to the funeral to see everyone but because of covid numbers were very limited.

I just learned of Laurie `s passing as I saw this obituary. I was her hair stylist. I was wondering why I haven´t heard from her. I´m so saddened that I won´t see her again. We had fun talks and laughs while she was in my chair. I will miss her greatly.

My husband and I met Laurie about 2 years ago at STOC. We just started chatting with her and the conversations continued after every Sunday! We enjoyed sharing stories, especially the Liver Transplant experiences she and my husband would share. God Bless Laurie!

Laurie was one of my favorite clients. We would meet frequently, talk briefly about "business" and quickly transition to sharing stories of our families. Laurie was very open and honest. She wore her heart on her sleeve as they say. She shared generously of her joy of exploration and travel and gave me some swimming tips to pass to my daughter. She took genuine interest in my upcoming hiking trip on the Appalachian Trail and I firmly believe she would have joined me if she could!

My condolences to her family. I will miss her very much.

Laurie was a friend with a great sense of humor, no matter the circumstances. She always put a positive spin on life events and always made me laugh. She was so supportive and there when I just needed to talk. Rest in Peace my friend.

Laurie, I will miss our chats on your front porch. It seems surreal that we will never share that time together again. I will continue to keep up the flower garden for you.

Laurie and I were good friends in early year in MN...we shared a lot of time at her home and other places together. We kept in touch even this past year via Facebook and I saw her last at our 50th class reunion in 2011. Not sure if we will have one in 2021, but hopefully, it will work out. She was a lovely woman and Mom, and enjoyed her travels with Larry a lot. She had a great sense of humor and had a transplant many years ago and got through it all though it had to be difficult for her. Her family was always very kind to me too...and her Mom lived a very long life golfing a lot in Arizona for many years in Leisure World. Prayers in her memory!! She will be missed!
