LaVerne Schittone Obituary

Schittone, LaVerne (Nee Esser ) Died peacefully on November 9, 2015, at the age of 87. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin, to parents Lawrence Esser and Pauline (Michels). She was a very loving, compassionate, and caring wife and mother. LaVerne is survived by her children Chad (Mary Kay), Mary (Jay) Mortensen, and Joel (Kathy), brother Norbert Esser, grandchildren Nick (Christine), Katy (Ryan) Owsianny, Joe (Nikki), David Mortensen, Michael, Laura (Jon) Ciche, and Andy, and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor and brothers Raymond (Joyce Anderson), Arnold (Sally), Clarence, Lawrence, and Vincent (Lillian). The family would like to thank the devoted staff at Ramsey Woods for their loving care and the laughter they shared with LaVerne in her final years.
