Leland Weir Obituary
Waukesha - Born July 6, 1940. Born to Eternal Life on February 13, 2020. Reunited with his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years, Carole (nee Schaefer) Weir. Lee and Carole married in 1961 and have 3 surviving children: Karen (William) Binash; Michael Weir; and Steven (JoAnn) Weir. Lee is very proud of his 3 children and all of their accomplishments. Lee is further survived by his 4 caring grandchildren, Rachael and Jacob Binash, Jessica and Jennifer Weir. Lee had a long successful career with the Milwaukee Fire Department, and he enjoyed 27 years of retirement in Milwaukee and being snowbirds in Florida for the winter months. Lee wishes his love of fun, bingo, cards and going up north to continue with all of his family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church W227 S8875 Saint Joseph Dr, Big Bend, WI. Visitation Thursday 10:00 am until time of Mass. Interment Thursday, February 20th at 2:30 pm at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha,WI. Please meet at the cemetery office.

Lee's memory will live on for us, because of the caring, unselfish way he treated all of his family, friends and frankly, everyone he came in contact with. Lee was my friend and lived his life allowing his selfless nature to shine. House guests of theirs were treated like family and I truly will treasure my memories of Lee Carole and the lessons they taught me by the way they lived. My wife and I are happy that he is re-united with Carole and others whom have passed before him. Our prayers are with Karen, Mike, Steve and all the family.
