Leland Zwickey Obituary
Brown Deer - Born to Eternal Life on Sept. 27, 2020, age 92 years. Survived by his loving wife Marlene (nee Wobig) of 61 years. Dear father of Jeff Zwickey, Rhonda (Jeff) Watts, and Valerie (Mike) Jackson. Grandfather of Sarah Watts; Emmett and Colin Jackson. Brother to Jacob Zwickey. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Lee was a WTMJ Broadcast Engineer for 35 years.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sat. Oct. 10, 2020 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church (8080 N 47th St. Brown Deer WI 53223) from 10AM - 11AM with Services at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. See zwaskafuneral.com for more information about Lee.

I will always remember Mr. Zwickey's inspirational volunteerism, always giving of himself especially when it came to kids' activities, including Milwaukee CONNtinentals Youth Bands, Boy Scout Troop 340, Brown Deer High School Band Booster, St. Paul's many Church events, activities, and events, just to name a few I witnessed growing up with his son my friend Jeff. Through his involvements he and his wife also became close to my parents Millard and Muriel. I know tbeir friendships meant a lot to Mom and Dad. As a fellow Army Vet, I salute and thank Mr. & Mrs. Zwickey for his service and so much more. May God's comfort, peace and nevet-ending love surround all of you alwsys. I am only a phone call or text away as you trudge this journey, know you are not alone. 515-291-4376
P.S. As my daughter has severe asthma & COPD making us very high risk with COVID-19, I am unable to attend regretfully, but will be there in prayer and spirit. I would also like to offer a tree as a living memorial to Mr. Zwickey, type and location of your choosing.
