I smile at the memories from stories my mom and dad told of their younger days. Also, it was during the wake for my dad in 1973 (Max Filipiak) that I found peace in regards to the body that is left - we had the viewing and his hair was wrong -so I was asked to stay while he corrected it - watching him do that freed me from painful bonds to what was no longer his life filled body. That relationship with the end time body, also helped me help my mother (Florence) as took her final breath - free of pain and full of supportive love after 6 years of providing in home hospice by myself. Bless him and bless you all

My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Bruskiewitz and the family. The Bruskiewitz family has been most helpful to our family in our times of need since the 1920's, and I hope to continue that in the future. Leonard was well respected in the community and he'll be sadly missed.

I would like to express sincere condolences to the entire Bruskiewitz family on behalf of the Schwabe family. Whenever my Mom (Estelle Schwabe) would tell the story about her wedding day she would always fondly remember how their friend Lenny pulled up in a black sedan that was used in the company business to escort my folks around all day in style. My Mom was deeply saddened when I told her of Mr. Bruskiewitz’s passing. When my Dad passed away I remember Mr. Bruskiewitz to be a very kind and caring individual. It was nice to finally meet the man with the black sedan that I had heard about so many times.
Please pass along my condolences to Ruth. We worked together in the pharmacy at St. Luke’s Hospital. (Hi Ruth). May you all find comfort through this most difficult and trying time.
Sincerely, Debbie Sweet

Please accept my sincere condolences on Len's death. He served our family over the years, and I will always remember his sincere kindness when my mother died in 1982. I was also able to see him regularly, when he would come to the Southside Health Center to file death certificates. He always had a friendly smile and hello during those meetings, remembering our family well. God be with you during this difficult time.

Sincerely, Carol Szymczak Thornton
