Lillian Folaron Obituary

Folaron, Lillian L. (Nee Dzomba) March 3, 2007 age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Dear mother of Virginia Lee (Tom) Eddington, Barbara (Henry) Szymanski and John (Sandy) Folaron. Grandmother of Terisa Folaron, Hilary (David) Gazely, and the late John Robert "J.R" Folaron. Sister of Dorothy Vierthaler, the late Gertrude Schwalenberg and the late Walter Dzomba. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Wed., March 7, 9:30-11AM with Funeral Mass at 11AM at Clement Manor Health Center Chapel, 3939 S. 92nd St. Interment Wood National Cemetery. Lillian was a member of the VFW Leslie Knutson Post #444, the Woodrow Wilson American Legion Auxiliary and the the proprietor of Genell's Mr. Topper's Cocktail Lounge. Memorials to Clement Manor appreciated. Lillian, a member of the "Greatest Generation", often expressed her patriotism using the words "The last four letters in American are 'I can'." Lillian also authored the following poem: My Flag Did you see my flag waving? Yes, mine and yours too, It looks so pretty And it's red, white and blue.
