In times like these we learn to trust God. In times like these we learn that no earthly possessions can truly fill us up. We learn who loves and who are like the leaves that whither away that, through trial and time-fade. LJ was my brother and he was such a sweet person. A heart that sought to love, be peaceful and protect. God is doing a work and we must understand that God has a plan. So I continue to live because I know my brother now has eternal life. So even as our mortal body begins to go through the motions of time, he has everlasting life that shines and illuminates as do all Saints who are now with God. I love u! And I pray for your children and wish you could have continued to be in their life forever. But God's plan was different. However the memories we share will keep you alive in our hearts. God be with us, as you are with him.

I have known. Lj for 16 years and it really hurts to see him gone. One think I know is he is in heaven looking down on us. He was a Great Man that will truly be missed. I love you LJ.

I have met & know L.J. & can't tell you how sad I feel when I think of him not being here any more with us! LJ I been knowing you since I was 12 at the Boys & Girls Club "The Club". You were a wonderful person and one of the realest ppl I have met and I thank God that I was blessed with that opportunity. I'm going to miss your smile and hearing you call me "Lil Bronte" whenever we saw each other. I will forever cherish the memories that we had from back then and from our Marshall days in the hallways. It's going to be hard remembering not to ask about you whenever I talk to Alex...You will be deeply MISSED, but I know your okay because you're reunited with Jose. My prayers are with your family and everyone else who is deeply sadden by this loss

Lloyd LJ Jackson you was my lil bro and I love you. From the time I met you, Jose, Keion and Marquis back in 93 it was nothing but love. We had so many fun days at the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club and Sherman nor Burliegh will not be the same without you. You no longer have to deal with the day to day struggle as we do and you have been reunited with your close friends your family I send my prayers and blessing that I was able to guide LJ during his adolescent days. L.J was like a brother to me. I first meet L.J at the BOYS & GIRLS Club in Sherman Park. He became one of the family,day one. He always keep me laughing with his jokes, and his big plans on Life. He had a free spirit and he could get along with anyone. I thank God for him, and allowing him cross path with my and my family in this thing call Life. He was a cool and layed back Man. My heart goes out to his family. Remember The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God. LLoyd, I just saw you two weeks ago at the gas station and I would have never thought that would be the last time that I would see you. Growing up with you on 28th was good because you always made us laugh. We all will miss you. RIP!!!!!!!!!

I have known Lloyd sense we went to Bell Middle School together. We would always take the bus together for school. No matter what month or what year I would always see him and now that's no more. I'm really going to miss you and will always love u. I saw him the day before all of this happened. May u rest in peace. U will always be in my heart.

dang LJ the last time i saw u was at 618 with the whole burleigh crew we grew up with. Me and deifdre just nodded becuz I didnt know that would be the last time we had to speak. It's sad because growing up u were the coolest person ever. NO DRAMA with no one.....u were like the peacemaker. Although all of our mempries lye in the past when we were growing up I am still saddened by your death. RIP...which I know u will.

I met LJ back in either '01/'02, in the hallways of John Marshall HS. He'd always have that hat on....when we'd {safety}ask him to take it off, he'd always start out with "maaaaan". He'd take it off tho'. That showed me he was respectful, no matter how he was feelin at the time. He was a pretty good guy even back then. I hadn't seen him that much after highschool, but i know he stayed fitted(smiling). When I did see him, we'd laugh about the "Marshall days". I know that he was loved and will never be forgotten.
