I worked with Lorraine at Brookfield East High School. She was always such a big help when she came in, we were always glad to see her. She was a lot of fun, always smiling and a very kind person. It was a pleasure to know her. I pray for time to heal your sad hearts.

There are certain people in your life that you know are a blessing from God. Lorraine was one of those people in our lives. From the moment we met her our lives were enriched. She touched everyone she met with a loving and caring spirit. We thank the Lord for letting us know her and the love she showered on our daughter, Nikki. Our deepest condolences to the Mertens family on losing this truly remarkable lady. May the Good Lord send you strength and love during this most difficult time.
