Lorraine Steininger Obituary

Steininger, Lorraine (Nee Konek ) Passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at her home at the age of 85 years. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Roman. Survived by her loving children, Robin, Heidi, Eric (Catherine) and Stacy (Mike) Gerkhardt; loving grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Benishek, Vincent (Erica), Alexandra, Madeline, Jordan, Lucas, Ruslan, Anya and Adam; loving great-grandchildren, Holden, Stella and Leo; lifelong best friend, Violet Soens; further survived by other family and friends. Lorraine enjoyed league bowling at the Red Carpet/Thunder Bowl, attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a founding member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Milwaukee. Visitation will be Sunday, February, 23, 2014, from 2-5 PM at Wisconsin Memorial Park (main building). Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday February 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, please meet at the church. (3160 S. 63rd St., Milwaukee).
