Lucille Ruttinger Obituary

Ruttinger, Lucille Entered Eternal Life Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Catherine (nee Senn) Ruttinger, her sister Marion Trester and her brother Kenneth Ruttinger. Lucille is the dear sister of Dorothy Meyer, Joyce Esch and Leroy (Betty) Ruttinger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lucille retired from First Wisconsin National Bank after 33 years of dedicated service. She was secretary to the president of the bank and upon his retirement was promoted to a vice president position. Lucille had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Her caring ways and ready smile touched many lives. She had a knack for cultivating friendships that lasted through the years. She enjoyed reading, the theatre, concerts, traveling, dining out, sheepshead games with her sisters and cheering for her beloved Brewers with her brother. Family was a big part of her life. Aunt Lucille was always there to help celebrate birthdays, graduation, weddings, recitals, and holidays, etc. She shared in their joys and sometimes sorrows. Living at St. John's on the Lake for the past 10 years, she acquired a second family with the many fine residents. We sincerely appreciate the loving care given to our sister, aunt and friend at St. John's and Vitas Hospice. They helped her accept death with dignity. Sevices were held at the Cathederal of St. John.
