You are all in hearts & prayers during such a trying & difficult time in your lives. Ron and Lynnette are together once again and smiling down on Emily, watching over her. This is our prayer:
Eternal God, to your Word we come for strength in days like this. We are not the first to live in troubling times such as Lynette's passing. Such times turn us to your promises, which alone can overcome our pain. Our faith rests firmly on your Word. We have nothing to fear because the Word assures us that Jesus, your Son and our Lord, rules at your right hand over all things. We tune our hearts to those Holy Scriptures. Your strengthening voice encourages us, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Be strong, Pat.

My dear friends Tony and Pat. I knew coming to Lynette's service was going to be difficult because of the newness still felt from the loss of my Paul who died April 11th. What I evidenced was a beautiful sharing of Lynette's life. She is proud from her better place by Ron's side of the send off given her well lived life. One of my favorite songs has become "Believe" by Brooks and Dunn. It has new meaning for me now. It told us Lynette knew how to celebrate her life. Her favorite song also tells us she would want those left behind to participate in life and rejoice because of her new freedom. Jeff your beautiful talk showed you are still the caregiver. You herded Paulette and the other younger children and looked over them to prevent harm at many Ampco baseball games. You told the story about going to Lynette's crib and poking and tickling until you got movement and reaction from her. Then you told about getting no reaction these past six weeks as you sat by her hospital bed, and how this made you feel so helpless. Sometimes in life you have to let go dear, no matter how hard that is to do. Emily what a brave, wise fourteen year old you are. It is said God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Your comment about why your Mom didn't get taken when your Dad did seems to be proof of that - "Because we weren't ready." God blessed you by placing you in such a loving family. Your Uncle Steve is a smart man, not hesitating to say no regrets - he told your Dad many times he loved him. And most meaningful is, he said he knew the most important thing is family. You will do well in life living with someone who knows this dear Emily. Shelly what a lovely woman you grew to be. Your sister will cheer you on however you need to be cheered. Using the Rascal Flats song "Wish" to speak Lynette's message to Emily, because Lynette couldn't speak since the accident, was a nudge from little sister to help you get it right. You did well hon. And back to my dear friends Tony and Pat. I've been told time softens the pain. This is probably true. As you said Tony, "Who would have thought." Who would have thought indeed we'd be each losing a child this year of 2007, and you a son-in-law as well. I saw a family strong in love and Jesus tonight and you will come together stronger because of your loss, always celebrating the life of Ron and Lynette by your side, just in a different way. God bless you.

Although I never met your mom and dad or you, I know your grandparents, Chuck and Cheryl Salgado quite well and his mom and dad and all the brothers and sister. I'm far away in Germany; but my thoughts and prayers are with you. I teach kids your age at an American high school here and can imagine, knowing my students, what a loss it is for you. God be with you. Keep the faith. Your entry is so correct--now your mom is with your dad. Your cousin, Bob DeLonge

Have a glorious Eternity Lynn! Have a beautiful reunion with Ron. God called you home much too soon. All the intercessions, prayer chains, and personal prayers said in your name… and God still said, “No, Lynn is coming home”. Why has God chosen your family to bare this heavy hurt and loss? We can question, but cannot judge. God didn’t promise us sunshine without rain, joy without sadness, and life without death.
Ask God to keep Emily strong in faith, and give her Blessings now and in the future. We will see you soon Lynn. Save us a good spot! Your battle is over… you are home now. Whenever we see daffodils we will think of Lynnie.

We will never forget Lynette's kindness and care toward our goldens, our babies...Bailey, Britney, Berkeley, and Stevie. You were among the reasons we could never consider going to a vet closer to home. We'll miss you !! If you could, check on my Dad from time to time. I'm sure he'll have something to say to make you smile. To the family of Ron and Lynette and especially to Emily...Please know that we will continue to hold you in our prayers through the years in the hope that treasured memories and time will help to ease your pain.
