Lynne Greene Obituary

Greene, Lynne Lucille (Nee Derse) Of Wind Lake. Reunited with her beloved husband, Mark, on May 17, 2011, at the age of 63. Loving and very proud mother of Amy Lynne (Chris) Herbst and Ty (special significant other Kimber Simos). Special grandma of Taylor, Alison and Benjamin Herbst, and twins Chloe and Lindsey Greene. Dear sister of Ted (Donna) Derse. Also survived by her mother-in-law Marian Greene, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial service Sunday 2 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Visitation Sunday 12-2 PM at the Funeral Home. Lynne's family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Ellen Ziaja and staff and to Dr. Rubena Qamar and the entire Oncology Alliance team at St. Luke's. You gave her 13 years of life she would not have had. Bless you. Our gratitude to nurse Amy from the Aurora VNA Hospice for her loving care.

I rode past your parents old house in Wind Lake yesterday and wondered how your Mom was doing. I heard later in the day she had passed away on Tues. Sorry for your loss. I have a lot of great memories from back in the day. Halloween party.... races..... etc...
