Neumann, Manfred E. Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Sunday, November 20, 2011, at the age of 84. Caring and loving husband of Hanna Neumann for 54 years. Loving dad of Andrea Neumann and Kirsten (Keith) Satula. Proud grandpa of Kevin, Kyle, Nathan, and Matthew Satula. Manfred will also be missed by other relatives in Germany and friends. Manfred was a local philanthropist and had a passion for politics. He was an electrical engineer in the development division of Allis Chalmers for many years, and also taught electrical engineering at Marquette University. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, from 9AM until service at 11AM, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha. (4 blocks south of I-94 on the corner of Hwy J and JJ). Interment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about this...my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Manfred a few weeks ago, and had a very enjoyable conversation with him about his love of Germany and his inventions. God bless his family.
