Marian Elez Obituary

Elez, Marian "Mira" (Nee Miletic) Embraced by God's welcoming arms on Monday, June 19, 2017, at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Milenko (Mike) Elez. Beloved mother of Danilo (Dana) Elez, Marina (Dan) Kane, and Dijana (Mark) Jovanovic. Cherished grandmother of 10: Marko, Andrej and Stefan Elez; Seamus, Danica, Trinity, and Finn Kane; Luka, Milan and Toma Jovanovic. Special aunt to nephew Dusko Marinovic. Further survived by many precious relatives, Kumovi, and friends. Mira was an accomplished graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Chemistry. She lived her entire life with an internal positive light and the selfless goal of bringing joy to the lives of others. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, at 10:00 -11:00 am at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (3201 S. 51st St., Milwaukee WI 53219), with funeral service immediately following. Interment at Good Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (mortgage fund) or Elm Grove EMS (Emergency Medical Services) appreciated.
