Marian E. Feld

Feld, Marian E. (Nee Slatinshek ) Of Elm Grove, joined her "Teddy Bear" husband Kenneth in Heaven on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the age of 93. They had been married for 69 years until Kenneth's death on January 14, 2014. Marian was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Frank and Angeline Slatinshek. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Paul (late William); much beloved grandsons, Todd K. (Andrea) Boyer and Geoffrey T. (Jill) Boyer and "the little redheads" great - grandchildren Nathan and Abigail Boyer. She is also survived by her brother Frank (late Mary, May 8, 2014) and niece Mary Catherine (William) Prillaman. Marian was a long time member of the Elm Grove Women's Club, the CPA wives where she had presided as President, St. Catherine's Home, St. Mary's Christian Women and the Carousal Dance Club. She was proud to be named Best Cook on The Block by the Milwaukee Journal where her recipes were used in their cookbook. Deep gratitude and appreciation go to Tomasa Bross, Patti Giehl and Anne Elias (also John Elias) for their loving care and constant support for both Kenneth and Marian. Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Visitation Parish, Elm grove (1260 Church St.) on Saturday, May 24 from 2 to 2:45 PM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 PM.
