Marion Langlais Obituary

Langlais, Marion Passed away peacefully Sept. 13, 2013, age 102. Proud graduate of Lawrence University, class of 1931 and UWM Library School, class of 1933. Served as a librarian at Menasha Public School for many years. Active in University Women, League of Women Voters, Theda Clark Hospital Auxiliary and American Red Cross volunteer. Marion loved life and traveled the world. Survived by children Steven C. Langlais, Algoma, Thomas Langlais, Appleton and Francine Langlais Blaschuk, Sullivan. Further survived by adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and half brother Bill Weigler, Austin, TX. Preceded in death by her husband Francis Langlais and half-sisters Lorraine Brynildson and Zudora Standke. Loved by many she will be missed by all who know her. Celebration of Life Oct. 19th, 11 AM Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Dousman. In lieu of flowers, donations to AngelsGrace Hospice appreciated.

You may not rememberme but I spent two weeks with Marion at Three Pilers a couple years ago. Marion is one of the people I was so blessed to have met. I have never forgotton her. I never will. My thoughts and prayers with Marion and her family.
