Marjorie Maxwell Obituary

Maxwell, Marjorie Snyder Marjorie Snyder Maxwell, age 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was an independent woman who loved new experiences. She traveled from Turkey to Thailand and from Moscow to Madrid and points in-between. In the pre-internet era, she would be traveling for months with no communication; her airport pickup was at the time she'd indicated, with our hope she would be on the plane. Marge lived her life exactly the way she wanted to. Marge is survived by three sons and their wives, Glenn (Kathe Stevens), Ted (Jill Moore), and Cal (Christine); four grandchildren, Ned (Linda) Maxwell, Katie (Peter) Van Den Heuvel, Sarah (Andy) Stark, and Emily Maxwell; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, and Ethan Stark, Simon Van Den Heuvel, and Ezekiel and Arlo Maxwell. She was predeceased by her grandson, Will (Andrea) Maxwell. She is also survived by her loving niece, Amy (Brian Naylor) Graffis and her nephew, Bill Graffis, and many loving friends and in-laws in Milwaukee, Appleton, and Detroit. Donations may be made in Marge's memory to Unitarian Universalist Church West in Brookfield or Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa. Memorial services will be planned.

I enjoyed being with Marge on the league of woman voters International Committee. She had personal experiences to share. And was a very faithful member. Gloria
