Mark Grogan Obituary

Grogan, Mark F. Age 53. Passed away peacefully on May 12, 2014, in Denver, Colorado, after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. Mark was a loving husband for 22 years to Steffanie and a devoted father to his three beautiful daughters, Bailey, Katie and Marie. He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Grogan, Sr. in July 2013 and is survived by his mother, Joan C. Grogan, Milwaukee, WI; and six siblings and their spouses: Gretchen (Peter Donahue) Grogan, Ellen (Matthew) Carberry, John (Denise) Grogan, Jr., Amy (Charles Smith) Grogan, Molly (Sean Lynch) Grogan, and Maura (Shannon) Neuens, as well as 17 nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his mother and father in-law Mary and Lew Hinkley, sister-in-law Kelly Hoffman; and brothers in-law Ben and Matt (Charity) Hinkley. Mark was a consummate sales person / executive, spending his professional life working for IBM, First Data Corp., Metavante and Manpower, Inc, where he was Global Accounts Director. He was a proud graduate of St. Monica Elementary School, Dominican High School and St. Norbert College, where he made many friends that he cherished all his life. His zest for life, adoration for his loved ones, quick sense of humor, generous spirit and passion for rock 'n' roll will be his legacy. "A life well-lived by a man well-loved." A celebration of Mark's life, followed by a reception will be held at Ozaukee Country Club in Mequon on Saturday, June 28, at 4:00 PM. Donations, in his memory, can be made to the "Grogan Girls Scholarship Fund," at Wells Fargo, 7700 E. Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
