Mark Leroux Obituary

Leroux, Mark Joseph "Mr. Leroux" Born to Eternal Life September 6, 2013, at 4:35PM, at the age of 64 years. Leaves to mourn his loving wife Beverly Gandy-Leroux and dear friend Mark Langtry. Mark's parents, Eugene and Mary Carroll Leroux, and two sisters Alice and Jeanette, preceded him in death. So my family embraced him and we all became family, 8 grandchildren, especially Xavier Gandy who was really close to his grandpa, other family member Lena Paula Archie, special friends Abbie and Ismul Resule, Kathy and John Gallum and Beverly Williams, and Aunt Bellzora. Mark was a retired nurse from Milwaukee County Mental Health who worked at BDH emergency room. He was a member of FNNP Union as a steward. Always compassionate for the mentally ill, who had problems with life, drugs and alcohol. Mark carved birds and loved animals, especially dogs. He loved to travel and laugh. He was an excellent gardener, plumber and carpenter. He loved to be busy and he gave of himself. Always willing to help someone in need. Mark asked for redemption and he was forgiven. I'm blessed to have known him and loved him. I would also like to thank Dr. Mark Rhyner, Dr. A. Adl and especially Horizon Home Care, and love to Aurora-St. Mary Hospice Care nurses, Hope, Laura and staff. Visitation Thursday, September 12, 5-7 PM at the Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 7 PM.

Dear Bev, family and friends of Mark,

Although Mark never complained, I believe his stuggles are over and new life has begun. I'm hoping you find some comfort in knowing how he appreicated your love and caring, as well as knowing only angels could give the love and caring he recieved. Please douse yourself in self love and self nurturing during this time of severe grief.

I believe it was a blessing and privilege and destiny to know Mark. We shared many stories of north central Wis. where he once lived. He accomplished so much amongst struggles. A strong willed and successful man. He will be not be forgotten. I feel sad
