Marvin Steger Obituary

Steger, Marvin A. Age 88, passed away suddenly on September 24,2018. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn (nee Kolberg) and his sister Dolores( the late Emmanuel) Schramm. Loving father of Susan Steger, Sheri (Michael) Teachout and Scott (Tina) Steger. Fond grandfather of Tina Brechlin, Kevin (Elissa) Schallock, Tracy (Joey) Tagliavia, Terese and Tiffany Teachout, Samantha, Travis, Justin and Jesse Steger. Great-grandfather of Jake, Torie, Taylor, Jaiden, Abbigail and Ace. Marv served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a former member of the American Legion. He was the owner/operator of Marv's TV Service from 1964 to 1999. As a man of compassion he volunteered for many years at Woodland Health Care Center. He will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield. Interment to follow, with military honors, at Holy Cross Cemetery. To receive obit/directions text 1815488 to 414-301-6422.
