I missed Mary's passing. Just wanted to add how enriching she was to me in my early career. She was gracious, bright, spiritual and lived her family. The proverbial single Mother who could do it all. Love to you all. Joan Pomerening- Hanson.

I am a member of Sister Rosalie Carven's religious institute, the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Mary showed me great kindness when I was a music student at Alverno College. Her lively personality expressed a great heart filled with love. I shall never forget her and the big old homestead in which she and her family lived.

I have known Mary for 36 years since she gave the green light for me to be hired at Johnson Controls. I could not have asked for a better mentor, colleaque, friend and confidante. There are way too many "stories" to tell and challenges to discuss. I was truly blessed to have worked side by side with Mary and to have had a lifelong friendship with her. I will forever miss her laugh and sense of adventure.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing-she has gone on to her just reward. Although we lived miles apart we were able to stay in touch via Facebook. She was a wonderful caring woman and will be sorely missed especially by her devoted family. Peace be with you, Aunt Mary

I love the picture of your Mom in the obit. Her wonderful sense of humor
has obviously been passed on. How can I say I am sorry, when I am not!
She lived life to the full and I am happy for her that she lived it so well and with such courage. I am happy that she will no longer suffer. Her life enriched so many; and with great memories and stories she will continue to do so. I am sorry that her absence will be felt deeply, especially by you, her family and by many of us who were fortunate enough to call her friend. With warm thoughts of you.
