The relatively few times I was in aunt Mary's presence she always displayed a wonderfully wry and alert sense of humor. This coupled with her high intelligence and Catholic (and catholic) perspective on the world and life in general, and her moral standards tempered with love and patience, she was a major star in the Weissenberger constellation.
Her special shine will be missed and at the same time, fondly remembered by us all.
Remember us in your prayers, please Mary.

I grew up right next door to you out on beautiful Pine Lake and we lived in the same city while I attended college (MSOE). I still feel at home every time I visit Milwaukee and now I feel a fun connection to LaCrosse after finding out where you grew up. I enjoyed the few visits we had in recent years and I enjoyed watching West Side Story with you while there. You sent me a birthday card every year until like 2009 and you spent a summer or two with my kiddos making fun memories. You were a wonderful person, always made me feel better about being me and were the best hugger I've ever known. Thank you for the awesome memories. I love you Grandma!
