Mary Gonzales Obituary
Muskego - Age 90, passed away December 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
Mary was born on November 30, 1930, in Beeville, Texas.
Mary married David Gonzales on July 5, 1947. They moved to Wisconsin in 1948 where they raised their family. Mary cultivated a supportive family and was a strong believer in the power of an optimistic outlook and faith in God. She was always interested in helping others, learning, and growing as a person. Over the years she traveled to places from Texas, Wisconsin Dells to Spain, hosted big family holiday parties, and enjoyed the little things like sitting on her patio swing. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends over coffee and a donut. She valued her family the most, and it is impossible to express how much she will be missed.
Mary is survived by her children Larry (Marcia), Patsy (Dennis), Debra (John), Lisa (Robert), and Christine (Lance), grandchildren Jennifer, Shannon, Todd, Denny, Colin, Maria, David, Joe, Jake, Josh, John, Wendy, Jeremy, Crystal, great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and her 4-legged grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband David.
Visitation will be held 4PM-6PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Church and Chapel Funeral Homes (15250 W. National Ave. New Berlin, WI 53151), with a service to follow at 6PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission are appreciated.
Mary's family wishes to thank Horizon Hospice caregivers and Kari, Wilma, and Michelle for the outstanding and compassionate care they provided. And to mom's youngest angel, John Muscutt for his loving care.
