Sally & I were so sadden to hear of the loss of Matt. I 'm sending my deepest condolences to his Mother & Father Donna & Wally. Matt was like a son to me. We had so much fun and laughs together. I know Matt is in a better place. He will be greatly missed.

Matt,
You were more than a friend to us, you were part of our family. Paul is going to miss his best friend who made him laugh and smile more than anyone else ever could. I'm going to miss our joking around, our hugs, and taking selfies. Gavin is going to miss Godfather, his buddy, his uncle. You were the most positive, most happy person we have ever met. You never said no to anything Paul, Gavin or I asked of you. We have so many memories of you and we will cherish every single one of them. You were the one person we could never be mad at, even about the ice shanty. Gavin is sad you won't be there for his first football game but knows you will be there in spirit for every game. On your birthday Gavin wants to wrap balloons in newspaper and send them up to you cause you wrapped every one of his presents in newspaper. I will never forget us trying, keyword trying, to reenact the dance from Dirty Dancing at Beckys wedding. I will never forget how happy and cheerful you were when you showed up on the wrong days to take Gavin to school. All of my memories of you are my favorite. We will never forget you. We love you more than you will ever know. RIP Matt! Until we meet again! Love you forever

Loosing a child is very hard and leaves a large hole in your heart. Fill it with good memories the hole never closes but the good memories help to fill it.

To the entire Nitecki Family, I am so speechless. My heart has been with you full of pain since I heard of this tragic accident.. I can't even imagine how your loss has made you feel.
I want to share with you what someone told me the day my mom passed away in 2009 that I was able to find some comfort in . Here's how it went...
In heaven it is a beautiful place filled with many bouquets of roses . Each time a rose is placed in the bouquet, it represents someone he has called home . God picks every rose that goes in the bouquet to make it beautiful and he only picks very special roses. On Friday that bouquet became outstanding.
