Through Rain, Sleet , Snow and Sunshine, I would gage my morning "get ready for work time" by Mike's trips up and down the block with Ozzie and Baxter. I will miss his Smile and friendship and our wonderful talks as EllieMae, Ozzie and Baxter would tie him up with their leashes . His Laugh and the brightness in his smile was contageous when he would tell me something wonderful or funny that one the kids had done or accomplished in their lives.
Kinsman Street has lost a WONDERFUL neighbor and an even more Amazing Friend ! We will miss you greatly Mike !
With fond Memories,
Love WendyJo and Elliemae

Michelle, Liah, Chris,

Sorry about the lost of your father. He was GREAT man loved by so many people. Mike was person that you could always count on no matter what. He was a joy of life always happy and down to earth. He was like a 2nd father to me, showing me the ropes of life and just being there.

Over the last few years I learned so much for Mike. He was a person that showed so much love to his family and friends, he would go the extra mile to make sure those around him were taken care of and doing well. He was a joy to be around and an awesome friend.

BIG Mike I’ll miss heading to Miller Park with you and Chris, spending endless hours on Sundays watching football games with you and the rest of the family. Along with the stories from the past, talking about current events and going out for a fish fry.

You’ll be missed but never forgotten!!!

a Medco friend

Between watching his bids for coins or stamps on Ebay, and seeing the latest pictures of his beloved dogs, and the great stories about his weekends with the family, Mike always showed his pride and whole-hearted openness to the world. Even when things got him down, he'd look on the bright side and make you feel better just for seeing him.

We've missed him so much at Medco, but those of us who were able to keep in touch have fond and laughable memories of time spent together.

He often spoke about his children and commented "what did I do to deserve such wonderful, successful kids". Curtis was a strong influence on him as well. We all mourn in your enormous loss and can only hope the pleasant memories flow quickly through your dreams and thoughts.

Mike was a loving man that left us much too soon. His love for his family and friends was endless. I will cherish the many memories I have from over the years with him, from us working together to the times we went out drinking and shooting darts. Mike was with me the one and only time I shot 3 bulls eyes in a row!! I will never forget that. May you rest in peace. We all have another guardian angel looking down on us. I will miss you my friend. Love you. Madge

Mike would always make me smile, even after a Packer loss... He was a dear person who brightened my days at Medco and will be missed by all he touched. I wish his family peace at a difficult time, but also comfort in knowing that his compassion for "good" and "fellowship" will continue to enrich us all.

Mike and I go back almost 30 years and I am deeply saddened by the news. Mike was truely one of the good guys in the world and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
I was one that had the fortune of having him as friend. During the years, we laughed a lot, we had serious conversations, and we exchanged stories about our lives. Mike was a valued friend.

I will remember Mike for many wonderful things. But mostly, he was a great father, a caring person, and a friend that comes along only once in a lifetime.

If you are lucky enough to have a man with a great and gentle soul as your friend, what do you do on the day that he dies?

You complete an honorable gesture that you agreed to complete weeks ago. Because that’s what he would have done.

You promise yourself that, for the rest of your life, you will be twice as patient with the people in your life. Because that’s the way he was.

You remind yourself that the friends that are still with you are among the greatest treasures in life. Because that’s the way he treated his friends.

You reaffirm that most human beings have vast amounts of kindness in their hearts, because he was blessed with this.

You go home and hold your family in your arms. Because he did that with his family all the time.

You mourn his passing, yet you celebrate the legacy that he left; his wonderful children, the great work ethic that he exemplified; the love for his dogs; the great example that he was. Because he deserves to be remembered that way.

You cry like a baby when it really hits you that he’s not here anymore. Because you will not see the like of him again.

Dad,
You were my best friend in the world, you meant so much to me and I am so proud to call myself your son. I'm going to miss you so much. You were also the best father anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for all of your love and support over the years and everything you did for me I appreciated it all! There is going to be a huge empty spot in my life with out you! There are so many things I'm going to miss doing with you. I can't believe we'll never watch another movie, go to another game together or go camping together. I'm going to miss laughing and joking around with you. It's going to be so hard knowing I won't be able to just stop by and visit with you! Thank you for being such a wonderful person and a great inspiration and role model to me. I hope some day I can be as great of father to my kids as you were to us. Words cannot express the pain and emptiness I feel right now. I Miss You Dad, and I know you will be watching over me from heaven I promise I will do my best to continue to make you proud.
I know no one else will understand this but you and I dad. ~"BEST BUDS... FOR EVER AND EVER, AMEN!"
I LOVE YOU!!!

Thank you, Dad, for everything you have done for us!!!
