Mike was a "salt of the earth" guy. I worked with him for many years and he always knew what mattered most in life- his family.
Mike cannot be replaced- the world just needs a whole lot more honest, unassuming, hard-working, and caring people like him.

Millie and family-
I and Mike worked together for many years. His love for family was evident as he spoke of you often and gleamed when he talked of his grandkids. An honest man who didn’t play games with anyone, he spoke his peace and stood by it. I will always respect his name and the honor of our acquaintance.
Until we all meet again, you are in my prayers.

Millie and the rest of your family, please accept my deepest sympathies. I knew Mike his entire police career and remember him as a dedicated officer and family man. He was a person you could count on. He always had an amusing story, piece of advice, or fact of life to relate to you. Although his life was far too short, I pray that you find comfort in the fact that you were able to share in the life of this decent, loving, and caring man.

To Millie and the rest of Mike's family. I am so sorry to hear about Mike. You all have my deepest sympathy. Mike started on the job a short time after I did, and though we didn't work together in his early years, he was one of my guys on days at the end of both of our careers, and retired two short months before I did. It's a tradgedy that he didn't get to enjoy more of his retirement. Once again, deepest condolences.
