Mequon - Born on March 11, 1963, passed away on May 9, 2020.
Cherished son of Donna and Charles Luber. Loving husband of Lisa Coffman. Dedicated father of Addison (10), Marly (7) and Eli (3). Dear brother of Dr. Howard (Lisa) Luber and Scott Luber. Further survived by his in-laws William and Faye Coffman, Bill (Kelly) Coffman, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by sister Marti Sue Luber. Michael worked as a psychologist at Jewish Family Services.
Private services. Memorials to be made to Jewish Family Services or charity of your choice. Or just take it to the casino. Celebration of life to follow at later date. Do not feel sorry for the cards that Mike was dealt in life; he had pocket aces. Only be sorry that he is no longer here to play them.

Because I have moved away from Wisconsin and live in Florida now, I have only just heard of Michael´s passing. My heart busted apart when I heard that as he was my most cherished coworker at JFS. This is not only because he was one of the smartest, but because he was so compassionate and empathic with clients and clinicians alike. Michael was a winner and a symbol of rare dominance over a disability, projecting his energy toward supporting and healing so many others, leaving a legacy and a lesson on how to live boldly and expansively. My heartfelt condolences to his family and to all who were fortunate enough to know this great man.

Lisa & Scott - I'm thinking of our trip to Las Vegas so many years ago and how much fun we had. I also fondly recall Mike's efforts to teach me relaxation techniques to overcome my fear of flying prior to going to Vegas. If not freaking out on the plan was a measure of success then it worked! My thoughts are with you and the kids and the rest of the family with my hope you all find comfort with special memories of Mike.
