Michael Smallish Obituary

Smallish, Michael Jay Almost didn't live to see 18. That's because some crazy driver, Sandy, almost hit him with her car in the parking lot of Cedarburg High School. Ironically, the two ended up building a life together (and working on Sandy's driving skills) over the next 33 years. In addition to raising twin daughters, Jessica and Samantha, Michael also loved to be outdoors. When he wasn't hunting, he was fishing. And when he wasn't fishing, he was up north in Minocqua, Wisconsin, building his own cabin and fantasizing with his daughters about opening their own burger and ice cream joint. Michael passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 after a hard-fought battle against cancer, and is survived by his high school sweetheart, Sandy, and his daughters. The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family (262) 338-2050 / www.phillipfuneralhome.com.
