Mildred (Millie) Kaplan

Kaplan, Mildred (Millie), age 96, passed away Sunday, Feb 28, 2021. Millie is survived by her loving husband of almost 75 years, Milton Kaplan and their three children, Steve (Revelee) Kaplan, Vicki Lapato, and Judy (the late, Robert) Hurwitz. Millie had six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Millie was born in Milwaukee, WI to Fanny and Joe Mantel. She was one of six fabulous sisters known as the "Mantel Girls". She met the love of her life in Milwaukee before moving to Rochester, MN where they spent majority of their life alongside surviving sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy & Ben Kaplan. Millie and Milt then retired in Florida where they were able to enjoy their later years. Millie has a large, loving extended family, nieces and nephews, all of which she treasured her time with. She was a strong and loving woman and will be sorely missed by all. A private burial was done by Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester, MN. In lieu of flowers please contribute to The Mantel Family Foundation fund through the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and the Ovation Jewish Home in Milwaukee, WI.
