Monroe Slavick Obituary

Slavick, Monroe Sol Age 92, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 23, 2008. All those who knew him understood the depth of his character, the gentleness of his nature, and the deep care and sense of ethics he brought to all matters - personal and business. A builder of homes and commercial structures in Milwaukee and the surrounding area for over 70 years, there are few neighborhoods where his work cannot be seen. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty. He is survived by his second wife of 23 years, Florence, children, Harris (Skip) Slavick and Marjorie Slavick Frank; grandchildren, Karen Slavick, Jason Slavick, Adam Frank and Ben Frank; children Howard (Vicki) Kesselman, Lee Kesselman, and John (Georgine) Kesselman; grandchildren, Lindsay Kesselman, Beth Kesselman, and Robin Kesselman. Funeral services 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee.
