I didn't know Nathan well--only met him a couple times--but it's hard to forget someone who left this world too early and too tragically. I still have his obituary card and think of my friend, Becky, often. I hope she has filled the hole in her heart with a lot of sweet memories. I still pray for you!

When I moved to West Allis when I was 8, Nate was one of the first people I got to know. His personality was infectious, what a great guy. He always made people smile and laugh and I know he will continue to make us all smile and laugh because he lives on in our hearts and our minds. To all of his family and friends I'm deeply sorry for your lose, and I hope you find comfort in knowing that Nathan touched so many lives including mine.

Tom, My daughter has showed me the My Space you set up for Nate. It's very nice, a nice tribute to your son. I saw Nathan's 3rd grade piture, 'that's the Nathan I remember'. What a little cutie. I hope your birthday went well, I hear the kids spent the some time with you? Sounds like Nate picked some pretty good friends. You are all Blessed to have each other. Nate, I've always seen you around but it wasn't until you moved in with Jerry that we actually talked. You could do just about anything and make me laugh, and were always sweet to me. I am overwhelmed by the number of friends and family that came to the funeral to say their last goodbyes. Well over 300 people, with at least 250 staying for the service. God was pouring out his own tears with the horrendous rain storm while we were all there. The love for Nathan was pouring out all over, even to the point of NateDog tattoos on the arms of his friends. The pastor said it best when he said to fill your hearts with the memories of him, don't let your heart become filled with the emptiness of the future. Just keep remembering that big smile Nathan always had.

There is so much to say about nate dogg, i loved him like my own brother, i even lived with him. we seen so much stuff together and been tho so many times but no matter how hard they were we always got through him and his family were there for me. times like this i just try to think of the good times we use to have, like him tring to wake me up at the crack of noon to go riding on a summer day when we had nothing else to do. i look through his old pictures and start to cry and then i just start laughing becuase they are just so damn funny, im sure nathan whould not want anyone to be sad he was one of the happiest people ive ever known. ``peace out nate dogg everyone loved you so much, U will be missed by EVERYONE you ever known

He made us all feel as though we had known each other for years. I am so glad i was able to get to know him, i just wish i could have gotten to know him better and skied out at Telluride this winter. Ive worked with nathan for over a year, and he always made the workplace fun, and made me actually look forward to coming there. Its very hard now with him not around, just last friday Pat, Nathan,Dave, and I we were throwin water at each other and havin a good time. I looked at him as a younger brother. He was a very hard worker and he was liked by everyone. I've only got to hang out with him a few times, but when i did it was always a blast. Nate made everything more enjoyable for everyone around him. He knew how to have fun and enjoy life. He was a great person and one of the funniest people i've ever met. I'm very sorry for his family and other friends, its never easy to lose someone u care about. He will always be missed and never be forgotten.

Nathan and I go as far back as elementary school. I can't say that all my memories are fond of him, but what I can say is that he will be missed by all who knew him. He was funny and alway putting smiles on other people's faces.

Nate and I were 5 years old when we first met, neighborhood pals, We caused our share of problems on 80th St. I have lots of memories of riding BMX bikes together (we loved to make number plates for our bikes out of paper plates, or what ever we could get our hands on) oh and I can't forget the awesome jumps we made in the empty field next to his house. Even though I moved I still kept in touch with nate we still hung out, worked on cars together. He was a Great friend and I will never forget him. I loved Nathan as my own son. He has always been one of my boys. All of PJ's friends are special,but Nate was Nate- he would do anything I asked, he was my poisonous cookie tester-always had to "check just one more Ma"- that's what he would say. And no swearing in the kitchen-right boys!? I can't imagine having no more scrapes to clean up or bumps to check. Tom and Becky my heart goes out to you- I wish I was there to give you a hug. Nathan was an amazing kid.
He could always make me laugh. He was there to help me when I needed it.
Nathan was more than just my brother's best friend to me. It's like he was my brother as well.
One of my last memories of him is when he and Patrick came down to visit, and he was laying on the couch, and Aidan, my son, climbed up next to him and fell asleep.
Nathan will always be in my heart, and the hearts of many others.
He was truly loved, and will be missed.
