He maximized his opportunities with family and friends, old and new, whether a Saturday morning golf game with friends, long afternoons in the garden, scuba diving throughout the Caribbean or various book and map clubs. He was always quick with a pun or joke, thoughtful with words of wisdom and opened his heart and mind to many people and organizations in the community. He knew more about history than any Google search could find and loved more than any husband or father could love. We will miss him!
