I was kind of the "Norm" of Nick's on Forest Home and would always get a kick out of him loosing his keys, because that meant a Easter Egg hunt and challenge for me. I never talked to his wife much, but had a chance to talk to his boys and liked them a lot. I miss Nick's Nicabobs and miss him even more1

Nick always said, 'No one needs a smile more than the person who doesn't have one'. He always had the ability in putting one on many faces. I was prevledged to meet Nick through his brother Sam with whom I worked at GE. Our sympathy and love reach out to the family during this time of sadness. We know the peace and love that surrounds him now is sustaining you all.

Pat, Nick and Bobby, just wanted to let you know that you are all in our thoughts. I always enjoyed my conversations with Nick Sr. at that the family functions. He struck me as an individual that enjoyed people and had a intense love for his family and grandchildern. On several instances I caught him looking at the childern with a pleasant smile on his face. It's a smile I'll always remember.

Our thoughts are with the Beaumont family at this time. I will always remember the first time I met Nick. I was doing the Grand Ole Opry Show at the Milwaukee Autotorium back in 1969, when Nick came back stage and asked me to appear in his club. To this day I have never know a more gracious host. He was the gratest promoter of Country Music and County Artists in Wisconsin. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

We are sorry to hear the loss of a great man that did alot for everyone by having fund raisers to help people out in need. Our band Mt. Olive played Nicks Nicabob and called it our home for many years. So from everyone in our band our blessings go out to the Beaumont family.

My condolences to the Beaumont family. I will always have fond memories of Nick's Nicobob on State St. from the early '70s when I moved to Milwaukee. The wonderful country stars that played there, the free buffets and parties he so generously hosted, and the many friends made during those years. No other club I ever went to had a owner that was always there and treated his customers with appreciation and always treated them as friends, not customers. Nick, you will be missed!
