Norbert was a very important member of the docent family for many reasons. He had a happy and friendly personality, he knew all the docents and they all loved him. The students as well as adults who followed his tours gained an appreciation of art and for an inspiring teacher.

I'll always remember Norbert .... one of his many Milwaukee Art Museum admirers. Norbert was a fine gentleman with many skills; and I treasure the cross he made for me, as well as his warmth and sense of humor.

I met Doc (as we knew him) when he joined the prayer group at St. Joseph Church in the early '90's. He was the first "guy" in our group of females. As you can imagine, he brought a totally new perspective to our prayers.

Without question, Doc lived life to its fullest. I admired his zest for knowledge and new experiences. In his later years he took up piano lessons and even tried knitting. He did what he could no matter what limitations life threw at him.

I cherish having known Doc and my husband and I extend our deepest sympathies to you all.

Dear Lochowitz Family,

Dr. Lochowitz was my Doctor for a very long time at the Teamster Clinic. What a nice man he was, with a great sense of humor, and he was a really fine Doctor. I loved that he wore cowboy boots and belt! He certainly lived a nice, long life, but I'm sure you, his family, will miss him greatly.

Heaven has yet another smiling face.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Blessings!

Dear Lochowitz Family,
I was fortunate to have known Norbert as a fellow docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum where his sense of humor made us all happy to be in his company. I still have some of the table favors he made in his wood-working shop for our docent luncheons. My condolences to all of you.

To the Lochowizt family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was our family Dr. for many years, in fact he delivered me nearly 53 years ago, and took care of my great grandmother until the day she passed.
A favorite story still told in our family about his sense of humor, was on the day I was born at the old Misracordia, my father stated to your dad, that if I was a boy, he would throw me out the window. My grandmother told me I was only a few mins. old, and your dad walked out of the delivery room, opened a window, handed me to my dad, and said "there you go!"
He took care of all three of us when we were little, until the teamster's built the health care clinic on Bluemound, which my dad tells me your dad was instumental in building.
He was an exceptional man, who will always be well thought of and remembered in our households.
Sincerely,
The Schneider families
