Nyla L. Hjerstedt

Hjerstedt, Nyla L. Of Menomonee Falls, was reunited with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the age of 80 years. Beloved mother of Sheryl (John) Plese, Pamela (Thomas, Jr.) Laur, and the late Roxanne Mueckl. Proud grandmother of John, Luke, Erika, and Thomas, III. Dear sister of Ada (nee Hjerstedt) Breitrick, the late Velma (nee Hjerstedt) Teichen,the late Delmar Hjerstedt, and the late Dale Hjerstedt. Special friend of Karen (Jackie) Sachs. Further survived by her ex-husband Edward J. Mueckl, other relatives and friends. Nyla will also be missed by her cherished feline companion Sara. Nyla was preceded in death by her parents Gustave and Louise (nee Steinke) Hjerstedt. Visitation for Nyla will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield) from 12 PM until time of Memorial Service at 2 PM. Final rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. The family invites you to meet them at the Radisson Hotel (N88 W14750 Main St., Menomonee Falls) for a reception in memory of Nyla from 4PM until 8PM on Friday, December 27. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Hope Center (please make checks payable to Hope Center 502 N. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188) or Life Church in Germantown.
