Pamela Ludke Obituary

Ludke, Pamela Ann 68, of Elkhorn, WI, died peacefully Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 30, 1944 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of the late Harold "Hal" A. and Elizabeth "Betty" A. (Miller) Peck. She was united in marriage to James L. Ludke on February 19, 1966 at the church she was a member of and grew up attending, the Big Bend Community Baptist Church in Big Bend, WI. Pam was proud to be a homemaker, and her family meant everything to her. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who will be truly missed. Pam was an active member of the Bethel United Methodist Church of Elkhorn, belonging to the Women's Circle and the Staff Parish Relations Committee. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jim. 1 daughter Jaime Ludke of Elkhorn, WI; 1 grandson Tristan Ludke of Elkhorn, WI; 2 sisters, Penelope (Homer) Holland of Scottsdale, AZ and Patricia (Phillip) Mitchell of Sussex, WI, and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister Paula Burns; and 1 brother Jay Peck; and 1 nephew David Broomell. Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Millard Community Covenant Church, N6713 County Road O, Elkhorn, WI, with Rev. Joyce Rich of Bethel United Methodist Church officiating. Private Burial will be at Rural Home Cemetery Big Bend, WI. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of service. Memorials may be made in Pam's name to: Bethel United Methodist Church. The Ludke family was assisted with arrangements by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI. The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice, Dr. Karen Ekwueme, and staff and all the ICU nurses and staff at St. Mary's Hospital Janesville. On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com
