Patrick Egel Obituary

Egel, Patrick W. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, age 78. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Terrio) for 58 years. Loved dad of Christine (Pat) Williams and Michele (Ralph) Zahner. Grandpa of Matthew (Carrie) Heilsen, Jennifer Zahner, Elizabeth (Kurt) Prinz and Michael Zahner. Son of the late Francis and Georgianna Egel. Brother of the late Frances Egel, Kathleen Bundrick, George (Lala) Egel, the late Audrey James and Mary Hegwood. Son-in-law of Ruth Leeping. Brother-in-law of Dolores (Harold) Finley, Joan Smelstor, Norma Terrio and the late Corrine Terrio. Patrick will be missed by nieces, nephews and loved ones. Patrick grew up in his father's pharmacy on 27th and Locust. He served as a marine in WWII and was a member of the Imperial Domaine of the Golden Dragon. He was also a talented artist and a 35 year employee of A.O. Smith. Patrick had every tool for every job. Patrick knew something about everything and he was usually right.
