I just met Paul a short while ago, My children ,Josh and Mya and their partners Jess and Dan just moved in next to Paul and Betty. We were all very happy that they were going to have such wonderful neighbors as the Hackbarth's. Paul was so friendly to us and shared many tales of the neighborhood and his life . He will be missed very much. Our sympathy goes out to all that loved him. Sincerly, Amy Smith

I worked with Paul on the MFD and he was my hunting partner for quite a few years. Paul was a stellar role model for our two sons especially at hunting camp. Most of all he was a best friend and will be deeply missed.

Never worked with Paul, but knew of him . As a fellow firefighter, may God comfort you as your loss of Paul. And may the memory of Paul live in your hearts forever.
