He worked at Sears on Mitchell St. for many years before joining the post office, working out of the West Allis station. Retiring in 1980, he and May lived their winters in Alamo, TX, and summers in Wisconsin Rapids area until 2000 when Alzheimer's started to win the war with his mind. He may have lost the war with Alzheimer's , but he won the hearts of everyone who knew him. Paul was an avid golfer, sheepshead and domino player, and participated in various dartball and cribbage leagues over the years. The last two years of his life were spent at Ramsey Woods in Cudahy where he felt safe and loved. More importantly, his dignity was never compromised. There are not enough words of gratitude for the entire staff that convey the thanks and appreciation we feel towards them. God bless all of you. MAX A.
