Phil & Gertie, Phil & Mary, Sarah & Family We are so sorry to hear of PJ's untimely death! We are all terribly saddened by the news. Although we did not know PJ all that well we were able to meet him at Aunt Irene's 90th Birthday Party. We are all thinking of you all and our prayers are with your family.

To all of PJ’s family and friends, I am very sorry to hear about his untimely death. It shocked me to hear that this happened to someone I grew up with. I haven’t really talked to him in years but I still remember when Mary and Phil put the basketball hoop on their garage. It pretty much became the neighborhood basketball court and even though PJ was years younger than most of us he would play and try hard. By the sounds of the messages I see that paid off for him. I’m sure he is in a better place now looking after every one of you. Stay strong, just as you know he would have in the same position.

We did not know P.J. very long, but he was always respectful to us and never failed to stop and talk. Our son Dan played basketball with him in a league in High School. We know he adored his children very much.Our prayers and sympathy are with you all.

My prayers go out to Mary,Phil,Sarah,Devin,and Cameron. I was frinds with PJ in Middle School at Sholes, I haven't seen him in a long time but i still have love for him, And love for his family. I'm so sorry that he had to leave so soon, but I think god needed someone on his side to make him laugh. Because that is how i remember PJ always having a good sence of humer. So all of use should remember those great times you had togther and everyone will get threw it. So god bless everyone.

I am very deeply sorry for your loss. I won't tell you I know what you are feeling, because I have not lost a child or a husband.
I won't tell you your heart will heal because there will always be that scar from losing someone so deeply loved.
I won't tell you he is in a better place, because even though it is true, I know you would want him here with you.
I know it is hard to see beyond today, but you should know that many are here for you to listen when you need to talk, to share your precious memories or to even cry with you. Please remember to let your friends and family be here for you in your time of grief.

Mary, Phil, Sarah, and Family....
There no words to express, that'll make the pain of this tragic loss go away.
The pain runs deeper than anyone can imagine.
As I reflect on the years of watching PJ grow up, I remember a happy, healthy boy, that grew up to be a son to be proud of, a loving husband, and most importantly a proud loving father.
Never did we imagine after all these years of knowing each other, we'd have to have such tragic losses in common. All those long neighborly nights sitting on the front porch, could have never prepared us for such a future. Nor could we ever have believed you'd lose your son.
As a grieving mother myself, I offer all my heartfelt sympathy from the bottom of my heart. I will do everything possible to help all of you thru this long journey of grief.
Four Candles for PJ
The first candle represents our grief.
The pain of losing you is intense.
It reminds us of the depth of our love for you.
