Phyllis Krueger Obituary

Krueger, Phyllis Laverne Born May 5, 1924. Died May 8, 2014 at 90 years old. Daughter of Philip and Emma Buechs (nee Katz). Survived by her husband Harold to whom she was married for 70 years as well as her daughters, Cynthia (William) Prost (Greenfield) and Diana Krueger (Bill Neveling) (Brookfield), her sister, Beatrice Roenspies (Lake Geneva) and her cousin, Donald (Dagmar) Kindt (California). Phyllis loved visiting botanical gardens, traveling to the National Parks, doing needlepoint projects, investing money and studying finances, hiking, reading the Bible, keeping up with the latest health reports and celebrating the fine arts. She was a forerunner in using organic foods and healthy eating. She was also a great proponent of education and a very intelligent individual; she went back to school in her midyears to earn a degree as well as was a great cheerleader for her daughters in their educational pursuits. Phyllis had a great sense of humor, a love of learning, and a caring attitude toward others. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. A celebration of her life will take place in June. The family would like to thank John and Richard Coury and the entire team of nurses and aides at Elizabeth Residence Oak Creek who cared for her for three years as well her special team at Seasons Hospice for all of their care and attention.
