As a co-chair of a local non-profit, I was very recently in communication with Rachel in regards to a drive we held to benefit HOPE. From our limited contact, it was apparent she was truly a dynamic leader. I was very shocked to hear of her sudden passing. I extend my deepest sympathies to her family and friends. May God bless her soul as she watches over her loved ones.

Dear Tony, Ben, Jon, and the Holley and Sciortino families,
I am so saddened to hear of Rachel's passing. I worked with Rachel at HD for many years. She was admired by all her knew her professionally and personally. I will never forget when she was newly pregnant with Ben, we would chit-chat about the joys of motherhood that awaited her. In one conversation we had, I recall her literally moved to tears by the love she felt for the baby she would soon meet. It was such a touching moment that has stuck with me always. Rachel's infectious smile, fast wit, kindness and intelligence will be remembered by all. She was an amazing woman. Truly. Rest peacefully, gorgeous girl.

Rachel was always dear to my heart and loved by my whole family. She and I daydreamed about trekking from La Crescent to La Crosse together but life got in the way. My love and deep condolences go to Mitz and Becky as well as Rachel's husband and children.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember Rachel as full of life and so much fun. I can remember Trick or treating on Cliffside drive as "Hobos" how we all laughed so much that night. RIP Rachel , you will be missed.

I was the bus driver years ago- and she always greeted me in the morning with the gift of her smile and her coffee in hand. She was kind to me when we'd see each other out and about or when our kids played football together. She was a class act and my heart is broken for her and her lovely family. I don't know whythe Lord allows these things - but I pray it will draw her loved ones closer to Him.
